What this tool does
- You place things by eye, on the page, and move them with a finger or a mouse.
- Highlight, box, circle, draw an arrow, scribble freehand: you pick up the pen and draw.
- The highlighter lets you read the text underneath: it multiplies the colour instead of laying it on top.
- The drawing is written INTO the page, not filed away in a floating annotation that half the software out there does not display.
- Nothing is applied before you save: the original file stays intact.
What it does not do: We ADD a layer on top of the page; we do not rewrite an existing paragraph, and a highlight erases nothing. To make text disappear, “Redact” is the tool, and that is another trade. A PDF is a frozen layout, and the tools that claim to edit it guess, and damage.

The other tools
- Merge PDFs : Several files, one document, in the order you decide.
- Organize pages : Reorder, rotate, delete, duplicate: the whole plan.
- Extract pages : Pick pages, take them out into a document of their own.
- Delete pages : Remove pages while looking at them, and they do not survive under the file you get.
