Add a watermark to a PDF

A marking that follows the document as it changes hands: it sits on top of the content, so it shows up on the photocopy.

This tool does its work in your browser, so it needs JavaScript. That is the price of never sending your files anywhere: the computing happens on your machine.

What this tool does

Diagonally across the middle, or tiled: the second is far harder to crop away.
Semi-transparent: visible without getting in the way of reading.
The size adjusts itself to each sheet, landscape pages included.

What it does not do: A watermark is not protection. It is a drawing on top of a page, and anyone determined will take it off.
