What this tool does
- A cut every N pages, N being 1 in the common case: one file per page.
- Every piece is a document rebuilt page by page: nothing of the original survives underneath.
- Past one file, everything leaves in a ZIP archive: a browser will not let forty downloads start in a row.
What it does not do: The cut is made by page count, never by content: this tool recognizes neither chapter openings, nor the start of a new invoice, nor separator pages.

The other tools
- Merge PDFs : Several files, one document, in the order you decide.
- Organize pages : Reorder, rotate, delete, duplicate: the whole plan.
- Extract pages : Pick pages, take them out into a document of their own.
- Delete pages : Remove pages while looking at them, and they do not survive under the file you get.
