Print a PDF as a poster across several sheets

What this tool does

• The screen gives the assembled size in centimetres before you save.
• The glue strip is adjustable: two neighbouring sheets share whatever you ask for.
• The sheets come out in the order you lay them down, top to bottom and left to right.
• A sheet that would come out blank is not printed.
• The page is enlarged without being stretched.

What it does not do: Crop marks are not printed: the glue strip is the guide. And the printer adds its own unprintable margin, which this tool knows nothing about: allow for it in the strip. The pages are redrawn: clickable links, bookmarks, form fields and accessibility tags do not survive. And what falls outside the frame stays in the file without being shown, as with cropping: an editor can bring it back.
