What this tool does
- Two to six columns, A4 portrait or landscape, and the screen says in advance how many sheets it will take.
- The file name under each thumbnail, which is what makes the sheet usable as an index.
- The images are laid out in the order you dropped them, never cropped or distorted to fill their cell.
- An image the browser cannot decode leaves its cell empty, with its name: the order stays right.
- Past one sheet, everything leaves in a ZIP archive.
What it does not do: The sheet is an image, not a PDF: it prints and attaches, but its text cannot be searched. The thumbnails are reduced: it is an index, not a print, and to look at a photo in detail you need the original. And nothing is sorted: the order is the order you dropped them in.
Nothing is uploaded. Cut your network connection once this page has loaded: the tool keeps working. How to check it yourself.
The other tools
- Merge PDFs: Several files, one document, in the order you decide.
- Organize pages: Reorder, rotate, delete, duplicate: the whole plan.
- Extract pages: Pick pages, take them out into a document of their own.
- Delete pages: Remove pages while looking at them; they are not left under the file you get.
