KF-PROFIL-EN16931: The declared profile is not EN 16931 compliant
This code shows up when an electronic invoice is validated. Here is what it means, why it fires, and what to change in the file.
Why this code appears
The invoice declares the MINIMUM or BASIC WL profile. Both are genuine Factur-X profiles, but they carry NO invoice lines and therefore do not satisfy the European standard. Many packages produce them by default, and the sender finds out at the rejection.
How to fix it
Move up to BASIC at least, which carries lines. The profile is a setting in your invoicing software, and it changes both the BT-24 identifier and the content produced.
Where it happens
This check is ours, not a code from the standard: we do not cover enough of EN 16931 to borrow its numbers, and a misattributed official code would send you to fix the wrong field. It concerns BT-24.
