KF-PROFIL-INCONNU: The declared profile is unknown to us
This code shows up when an electronic invoice is validated. Here is what it means, why it fires, and what to change in the file.
Why this code appears
The specification identifier is not one of the profiles we know. That is not necessarily an error: sector-specific CIUS exist and the list evolves. We then apply the EN 16931 core rules.
How to fix it
Check the BT-24 value character by character: a typo in the URN is the most common case. If your profile is legitimate, the core checks still hold and this stays a warning.
Where it happens
This check is ours, not a code from the standard: we do not cover enough of EN 16931 to borrow its numbers, and a misattributed official code would send you to fix the wrong field. It concerns BT-24.
